Katie is delighted to have been nominated for the 'Best Composer'award
at this year's Underwire Film Festival, for her work on the
short film 'Shrapnel' by Robert March. Screening and awards
will take place in London on the 25th and 26th November. For

Katie has been commissioned to write three original songs to
be performed as part of the Walshaw Lodge concert series in
July. The songs will be performed by internationally renowned
concert pianist Margaret Bruce and bass baritone David Owen-Lewis

Original music by Katie for the play 'A Warning Aginst Idle
Gossip' performed by the Trickster Theatre is reviewed by Vicky Anderson (from'Made Up') -
'Ronald Meadows's direction is tight and the soundtrack, by Katie Chatburn, sets the tone perfectly.'
The play will be performed at Studio Liverpool, St Phillip's Church Salford and Heptonstall Church this month.
